Penndot Driver and Vehicle Serivices online
If you have not received a renewal form from PENNDOT, you can renew your drivers license with a DL-143 and $26. Use an MV-140 to renew your auto registration. Fee is $36 for automobiles and $58.50 for most pick-up trucks. Our office can assist you. E-mail or call one of our district office numbers at the bottom of this page. You may also renew online with a credit card 24 hours per day. PENNDOT also has contracted with online service agents who can process many documents for an extra fee.
For a duplicate drivers license you will need a DL-80 and $10.00. This form must be notarized.
For duplicate registration cards, stickers or tags, use MV-44. Duplicate vehicle registration card is $4.50, with sticker, $7.50. Duplicate titles, use MV-38O. Fee is $22.50. This form must be notarized
Birth certificates are $10.00; death certificates are $9.00.

When visiting a Photo Driver's License Center, take your signed temporary license, Social Security number and another form of identification containing your signature. Note: Appointments are necessary for driving exams for learner's permits and CDL.
Obtain a new drivers manual from the Drivers license center. When you complete the medical form, take it to the driver's license center. There have been changes implemented for teen drivers. Our office will be glad to provide you with a new drivers manual and additional information. For testing times, see above.
Any person over the age of 18 who resides or is employed in
Pennsylvania, may become a notary public with some
exceptions. Fee is $40 made payable to the Commonwealth of
Pennsylvania.
If you live in the 14th Senatorial
district, or if you are an out of state resident who works in the 14th
Senatorial district, you may submit a completed application with your check for the Senator's
endorsement. It takes approximately four to six weeks for a notary to be
commissioned.

How do I get a passport?
The first step in applying for a passport is to visit the US Department of State passport home page This site has all the information necessary to begin the process. It is important to note that processing time for passports vary based on the time of the year, and you must allow enough time for processing if you have an overseas trip planned. To obtain a passport for the first time, you need to go in person to one of over 9,000 passport acceptance facilities located throughout the United States with two photographs of yourself, proof of U.S. citizenship, and a valid form of photo identification such as a driver’s license.
How can I get a handicapped plate or placard?
If you require special parking privileges due to a handicap or disability you may obtain a placard or special plate. Handicapped/Disabled person placards are free. Obtain MV 145A and have it signed by your doctor. This form must be notarized.

What programs and special fees are available for senior citizens?
There are numerous programs available for senior citizens including reduced auto registration fees for retired persons, the PACE prescription program, the property tax and rent rebate program and lifetime fishing licenses. For information and eligibility guidelines, call our office.
